TikTok user's 5-year 'revenge tactic' on ex divides opinion

A TikTok user has shared an 'interesting tactic' she's used to get back at her ex-boyfriend for the past five years — and counting.

Kristina, who posts to the account @kristinamakescontent, revealed in a now-viral video how she's been flooding her ex's email inbox with spam ever since they broke up in 2016.

'Interesting tactic for revenge'

She made the stunning admission in response to another video posted by fellow TikTok user, @andpacker, who asked his followers, "What's something that's incredibly immature that you will never stop doing?"

In Kristina's case, that's secretly using her ex's email address to sign up to any and all types of newsletters, updates and other junk mail without his knowledge.

"I've had a very interesting tactic for revenge," she began cryptically. "My revenge comes in the form of email newsletters."

Kristina went on to detail how she puts her revenge plan into practice in everyday life.

"If I'm in the airport and I need an email to give the airport to use the wifi, I give them his," she explained.

"If I want to read an article but they need an email, I send them his," she added.

When using her former flame's email address, Kristina said that she makes sure to tick all the updates and topics of interest available just to maximise the spam potential.

And according to her, her ex has no idea what's behind the continual influx of email newsletters he never remembers signing up to in the first place.

"He doesn't know why. Not a clue," Kristina said. "And I will never stop doing it."

'Totally psycho'

Her fellow TikTok users were both impressed and horrified by her revenge tactic.

"Thanks for the tip girl," one wrote in the comments.

"Totally psycho but so much impressive to have a diabolic mind like this," added another.

"Is it bad I think this is genius?" said a third.

Kristina later replied to a follower who asked if her ex now knows about her ploy since posting the video, which has had over 5 million views so far.

"He actually does now! One time I was in Amsterdam airport and I accidentally put my first name on the form and he sent me a message saying 'IT'S YOU!!'" she responded.

"He thinks it's funny," she added.
