Former Today star Jess Rowe stuns in see-through top at 52: 'Incredible'

Former Today host Jess Rowe has stunned fans with her latest fashion shoot to promote her new book Mum Jokes. The book comes with over 500 ‘quick and funny’ jokes that promise to be ‘smarter’ than the puns your dad tells at the dinner table.

The star, 52, looked incredible in a set of bright snaps for Stellar, showing off her figure in a revealing see-through top. In one photo, Jess is seen with a huge grin on her face as she dances with her palms covering her ears. Her black lingerie is seen underneath a long-sleeved mesh top, with olive high-waisted pants finishing off the look.

She accessorised with chunky blue rectangular earrings and opted for extremely bold lavender eyeshadow.

In the second snap, the author shows off her striking profile, wearing a dazzling turquoise dress while resting her hand loosely on her hip. She sported a classic red lip as she puckered up, finishing off with a set of chunky rings and pastel nails.

In another photo, the mum was seen wearing a bright orange suit with a navy skivvy underneath. She swapped her blue earrings for small gold hoops, and looked into the camera with a beaming smile.

Her celebrity pals couldn’t get enough of Jess’ fun shoot, with Channel 10’s Angela Bishop branding her as “fabulous”.

“Beautiful, [you] look amazing, seriously @jessjrowe you are heaven sent full of energy,” celebrity chef Anna Polyviou wrote.

“Oh my gosh. You are stunning. So photogenic,” model Alison Brahe-Daddo gushed.

Home and Away’s Sam Frost, MAFS star Domenica Calarco and singer Danny Minogue also sent love to the star by liking her Instagram post.

Jess’ fans also flooded the comment section with praise, saying she looked “incredible” and “amazing”.

‘I absolutely love this shot!!! And love you,” one commented.

“Love your energy and your honesty Jess. You are absolutely amazing,” another added.

“Fabulous pics, you look stunning @jessrowe,” a third remarked.

Jess opens up about Today stint

During her appearance on Stellar’s podcast Something to Talk About, the star touched on her exit from the Today show in 2007.

The star replaced Tracy Grimshaw as co-host alongside Karl Stefanovic, but faced harsh criticism from the public as well as from executives within Channel Nine. Allegedly, chief executive Eddie McGuire made comments internally regarding when he could sack Jess from the show.

Although it was a tumultuous time for the star, she has no regrets about taking the Today job and giving it her all.

“I look back on that time and I can feel my stomach churning…it’s so visceral. It was the pits. But at the same time I don’t regret it,” she said.

“And because I’m a huge believer in grabbing opportunities, we only have one shot at life. And when amazing things come your way, you’ve got to give it a crack. So I was determined to give it my best shot.”
