All eyes were on former Australian Prime Minister Tony Abbott's daughter Frances on Saturday when she competed in her second bodybuilding competition.

The 26-year-old appeared on stage at the ICN championships, revealing her toned physique in a dark purple bikini.

Taking to Instagram, the fitness blogger from Melbourne shared some behind-the-scenes footage, which included her practising some moves backstage, as well as her routine in front of the judges and live audience.

Ahead of competition day on Saturday, Frances shared a message with her followers on social media on Friday night.

She wrote: "I haven't worn a bra in well over 24 hours, I smell like 4 coats of tan and I am dressed like a kung-fu princess in my PJ pants I picked up from Salvos... but this hair makes me feel like Ke$ha and that's exactly the effect I was after".

"Early dinner Early to bed (I'll be sleeping sitting up) Ready to hit the stage at 12 and 3.15," she added.

Alongside the message was a black and white filtered photo of Frances, showing off a new half-braided hairstyle.

This comes after Frances competed in the Australian ICN Victorian State Titles competition just last month.
