The two chefs, who have been married since 2018, welcomed little ones Tatiana Lo and Alina Lo
Buddha Lo is officially a girl dad!
The two-time Top Chef winner, 31, and his pastry-chef wife Rebekah Pedler announced over the weekend that they welcomed their first babies, twin daughters Tatiana Lo and Alina Lo, on Friday, Oct. 20.
The couple revealed in a joint Instagram post that their "two beautiful daughters" were born via cesarean section at Weill Cornell New York Presbyterian — with Tatiana measuring 2.8kg and her sister 2.5 kg.
"There are not enough words to articulate the premier level of care we received during our visit," the couple shared. "After a routine stress test, Mum's blood pressure was too high to keep cooking the babies so we had to deliver earlier than expected."
"We had a few extra health complications with Mum and Tatiana but now we have all been discharged and are at home, soaking up all the deliciousness. Thank you to Dr. Nabeezadeh and the whole team at Alexandra Cohen for the exemplary care and attention we received."

To celebrate the birth of their babies, Lo and Pedler uploaded several behind-the-scenes images of the special day — from a shot of Pedler holding their babies by a window to an image of the Top Chef star basking in fatherhood for the first time.
Other photos included a family pic, a shot of the babies hanging out together in matching attire and a candid photo of Pedler chowing down on some sushi in the hospital.
"Thank you @tigernostripe who was holding it down for us at home and caring for Kroshka, we cannot thank you enough for your generous help," they wrote of their pug. "Thank you to our New York family and friends for wrapping your arms around us for the last nine months and sharing in the joy in this special moment."
"WE FOUND THE TWO MISSING MAJONG PIECES," the pair added. "Now let the fun begin!! #sendlasagne"
Lo and Pedler first announced they were expecting in June, sharing a carousel of photos to their Instagrams at the time.
In the series, Pedler wore a floral bra top and pink baggy pants that were open at the waist, showing her baby bump. Lo also included a photo of the movie Twins, seemingly revealing that the couple wasexpecting twins.
“Fire one double” ✌🏼 ——> 11.11," the couple shared, revealing that they are expecting their babies on November 11.
In the comment section, the couple's friends and family chimed in with their congratulations, including former Top Chef host Padma Lakshmi, who wrote, "Yay!!!!!!!! ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🐣🍼👶🏻🐥."
After sharing the photo, Lo shared his gratitude in the comments, writing, "Thank you everyone for the love ❤️ ❤️."
Last year, Lo revealed that his "Marry Me Pasta," which he made during the family-style challenge in episode 11 of Top Chef, was inspired by a dinner with Pedler. The two were working at Hare and Grace in London when Pedler made the Rigatoni Amatriciana for a staff meal. Lo loved it so much that he told Pedler if they were still single by the time they were 30, he would marry her.
Now happily married, the chef told PEOPLE that he "has not changed a thing" and that it's a meal the couple still enjoys together.
"I had no pressure in doing this dish. It's a dish that was the turning point of my life and if I was to go home for it I wanted people to know about this story and how special this dish is for me," he said.
"My wife on the other hand didn't get to know the result and was panicking her way back to New York and was hoping that I didn't get sent home for the dish," Lo added. "We have a chuckle about if I were to get eliminated for this dish that we might have to change the name to 'divorce me pasta.'"
