Large cobra turns on snake handler
A large cobra has turned on a snake handler during a live demonstration.
The Malaysian man was ‘charming’ the venomous snake when it decided to attack and latched on to his wrist.
In a YouTube video posted by Rizal Halim, the crowd gasps in shock as another snake handler rushes to the man’s aid.
The pair were mid performance when the creature attacked.
Before the man was bitten, he was holding the tail of the snake as it repeatedly launched forward trying to attack another handler.
The cobra’s venom contains a potent neurotoxin that can be lethal to humans.
