Little Mix are usually all the girl power you need – but The Only Way Is Essex's Georgia Kousoulou has accused the band of "bringing down" women after they posted a video to social media "mocking" the reality star.

The post on Little Mix's Instagram – captioned: "That's right, you guessed it" – sees Leigh-Anne Pinnock parodying Georgia's everything5pounds.com advert, where the 26-year-old TOWIE star poses in a series of outfits telling viewers everything is, "you guessed it, £5".

Commenting on their video, Georgia wrote: "I'm shocked and upset to see you have used your social media to made a video mocking the advert I did.

"I'm honestly shocked to see this... I have always been a fan of Little Mix & part of that is because you always talk about 'empowering women' not mocking them & bringing them down.

"You are the last group of girls I would have ever imagined mocking a girl for trying to make a living."

She later added: "I'm not going to say anymore guys but you should never do something "funny " on someone else's behalf.

"Girl power is what they believe in . This AINT girl power."

And it seems even Little Mix fans were "disappointed" by the "spiteful" post, with some comments suggesting that the video is a form of "cyber bullying".

Commenting below the video, one person wrote: "If your idea of funny is taking the mick out of other girls then you're not the role models you think you are," while someone else said: "Call yourself role models and you like to empower women? Shocking behaviour! Hypocrites!"

Another added: "Shocking that @littlemix and their management think it's ok to ridicule Georgia in this way, and not take this nasty video down. Particularly when @georgiakousoulou has stated several times that she is upset by it! "

When some Little Mix fans argued that "the video was just banter" and "not to take it personally", Georgia hit back saying: "Google the advert and you'll see.

"The fact she has put on a voice and done the same thing as I did – of course I'm gonna take it personally."

Responding to another Little Mixer, she said: "oh okay, so because the advert was FUNNY which it was supposed to be – someone with a MASSIVE following is allowed to take the piss out of me doing it?!"
