Travis Barker's cryptic post as he's rushed to hospital

Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker has reportedly been rushed to hospital with a mysterious illness.

It is believed the 46-year-old drummer and husband of Kourtney Kardashian was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre in LA after arriving at the West Hills Hospital with a serious issue.

In a cryptic post to Twitter, Travis simply wrote, "God save me", the same name of the song he released with Machine Gun Kelly in March.

His daughter Alabama also posted on her Instagram Stories, "Please send prayers", written on a black background with a teary emoji.

Hundreds of fans commented on Travis' Twitter post, with many worried about his hospitalisation.

"I hope he will be OK," one said.

"Hope you have calm energy and good doctors surrounding you," another commented.

"Hopefully your hospital visit isn't serious," a third added.

TMZ reports Kourtney is by her new husband's side, with a photo of her following Travis on a stretcher wearing a black hoodie.

His mysterious illness comes after his wife of one month was struck down with Covid. It is not known if Travis' rush to the hospital is related.

On her lifestyle blog Poosh, Kourtney revealed she contracted Covid for a second time.

She detailed her tips for dealing with symptoms, including putting peppermint oil on the base of her skull to help with congestion, taking vitamins, reaching out to doctors you trust, and hydrating.

Travis escaped death in 2008 after he survived a fatal plane crash that killed four people.

In an interview with Men's Health last year, he revealed he went through three months of therapy to deal with posttraumatic stress disorder.

"I couldn't walk down the street. If I saw a plane [in the sky], I was determined it was going to crash, and I just didn't want to see it," he said.
