I Tried Almost Everything On Starbucks' Fall Menu & Here’s What You Should Order
The rumors have been percolating, and now Starbucks' fall menu has been officially released. Starting today, you can grab old classics like the Pumpkin Spice Latte; more recent favorites like the Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato; and a few new drinks that are sure to stick around. I was one of the first to try the entire Starbucks fall menu, including the first-ever pumpkin-infused Starbucks Reserve fall menu. Here's a rundown of their fall items:
Pumpkin Spice Latte
The Pumpkin Spice Latte started the whole pumpkin spice craze, so of course it's returning for its 20th year. Steamed milk and espresso is combined with pumpkin spice syrup and topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices. This was honestly my first time tasting a PSL and, although much sweetener than my regular black coffee, I can see why it's a fall favorite. You can get it hot, iced, or blended.
Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte
Inspired by customer and barista customizations, Starbucks has added the new Iced Pumpkin Cream Chai Tea Latte to the menu. It's an iced chai tea latte topped with pumpkin cream cold foam and pumpkin spice—a perfect combination.
Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew
Returning again this year is the Pumpkin Cream Cold Brew—vanilla-sweetened cold brew topped with pumpkin cream cold foam and pumpkin spice. It's like a PSL for anyone not feeling all the milk.
Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato
If you prefer your desserts in liquid form, this one tastes just like a warm apple crisp right out of the oven. The Apple Crisp Oatmilk Macchiato returns for the third year, combining apple, cinnamon, and brown sugar flavors and is topped with a drizzle of spiced apple. Not feeling a hot drink quite yet? It can also be ordered iced or blended.
Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken Espresso
While you can get the Macchiato iced or blended, the new Iced Apple Crisp Oatmilk Shaken is a cold, coffee-forward twist on the fan favorite. It tastes just like a Tootsie Roll Caramel Apple Pop, but not quite as sweet.
Bakery Items
Flaky croissant dough envelopes an apple filling with the new Baked Apple Croissant. Returning are the Pumpkin Cream Cheese Muffins and Owl Cake Pops.
Starbucks Reserve Fall Menu
To celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Pumpkin Spice Latte, you'll be able to order a Starbucks Reserve Pumpkin Spice Latte at any of the six U.S. Starbucks Reserve locations. Unlike the PSL you'll find at your local store, this one is made with Reserve espresso.
For an even more special sipping experience, order the Pumpkin Spice Whiskey Barrel-Aged Iced Latte. There's no alcohol, but the whiskey barrel-aged coffee and whipped cream is the perfect complement to warm spices.
The classic espresso martini gets a fall twist with the Pumpkin Spice Espresso Martini. While I'm a firm believer that not everything should be pumpkin spiced, this one I'll sip on.
You can round out your experience with new Princi bakery items like a Pumpkin Maritozzo and Pumpkin Spice Cake.
