Two charged over '£1.5m of cannabis' in Peterhead

Two men have been charged after drugs estimated by police to be worth £1.5m were seized in an Aberdeenshire town.

A search warrant was executed in Peterhead's Queen Street on Tuesday.

Police Scotland said a "large cannabis cultivation" was discovered.

Two men, aged 25 and 26, were arrested and charged and are due to appear at Peterhead Sheriff Court.
