Two men have been killed after the Russian military attacked Sumy Oblast with artillery, the Prosecutor General’s Office reported on Nov. 12.

They died while riding a motorcycle along the road between Stara Huta and Nova Huta in the Shostka district of the oblast.

Sumy Oblast’s Prosecutor's Office has initiated a pre-trial investigation. The case falls under the violation of laws and customs of war, combined with intentional homicide.

Earlier, on Nov. 11, a man and a woman were killed in Toretsk, Donetsk Oblast, while walking on the street due to an artillery strike by Russian forces.

Additionally, on Aug. 11, Russian shelling in Kherson killed one person and injured four.
