The first part of the sixth and final season of the series "The Crown" was released on Netflix on Nov. 16, with Ukrainian singer Michelle Andrade starring in the popular program.

Andrade’s appearance in the role of maid Bianca was a surprise for both Ukrainian viewers and fans of the singer herself. She played a key role in the episode about Princess Diana's vacation and her lover Dodi Al-Fayed on a yacht.

"At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, I found myself in Europe with a travel show team,” Andrade said.

“I directed all my efforts to help my loved ones in Ukraine. When I realized they were relatively safe, I began to plan life abroad. I looked for contacts of people who could help with work in Europe. That's how I met a casting director on Facebook and sent her my resume.”

Shooting took place in October 2022 on the island of Mallorca.

"I was extremely impressed with the scale and organization. They treated me like a lead actress: they paid for flights, accommodated me and my mother in a hotel, provided a transfer and a separate makeup room that looked like a hotel room with a fold-out sofa, TV, refrigerator, shower, bathrobe, and slippers. I'm glad my mom was with me and supported me in such a moment.”

Andrade also revealed that special relationships developed on the set with Israeli actor Salim Dau, who played Mohammed, the father of Dodi Al-Fayed and an Egyptian billionaire.

"He is a very kind and wise man who loves his daughters and speaks in verses. We got into our roles together and actually talked on the phone as in the series. Salim gave me valuable advice: an actor doesn't play a role at the moment; he lives it. He immersed me in the state of my character, modeled different scenarios that evoked different emotions. It was an incredible experience, and I am grateful to him.”

The first part of the sixth season was released on Netflix on Nov. 16. The second part will be released on Dec. 14. The season will cover events related to the royal family from 1997 to 2005, including Princess Diana’s death and the introduction of Prince William and Kate Middleton.

British actress Elizabeth Debicki played Princess Diana in the sixth season, and Imelda Staunton played Queen Elizabeth.
