Today in news you never expected to read, reports have emerged that Lionel Richie’s Son Miles Brockman Richie was detained in London for a, um, bomb threat. According to eyewitnesses who spoke with TMZ, the model was reportedly at the airport attempting to get on his flight, and-for reasons that are very ???-told airline personnel he was in possession of a bomb that he'd detonate if he wasn't allowed to board the plane.

But wait, it gets more alarming: Miles allegedly punched a security guard before police detained him. Which...what?! A spokesperson for the Metropolitan Police in London tells TMZ that Miles "accepted a caution" (which is a formal warning that goes on a person's record) Saturday for "communicating false information causing a bomb hoax and battery following an incident at Heathrow (Airport) Terminal 5."

Miles was released after briefly being detained, and has yet to speak about about the incident.
