Vinnie Jones paid tribute to his late wife Tanya on what would've been her 55th birthday.
A statement released after her death in July 2019 said she had passed away after "a long illness".
"A happy birthday to a beautiful girl ❤️🙏🏼," Jones, 56, shared in an Instagram post.
The footballer-turned-actor also posted several close-up shots of his late wife, including one of her laughing and another of her in a wedding dress.
Back in 2013, Jones shared that both he and his wife had been diagnosed with skin cancer while it has been reported that she had also previously battled cervical cancer.
The couple married in 1994 and had one son, Aaron, while Tanya also had daughter Kaley with her first husband.
Following her daughter's birth when she was 21, Tanya underwent an emergency heart transplant.
Jones penned a book following his spouse's death, releasing Lost Without You: Loving and Losing Tanya last year.
The Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels star also appeared on Piers Morgan's Life Stories in 2020 where he spoke about his grief and insisting he would not remarry.
He remarked: "I think that's an impossible question to answer but if you asked me if I would get married again that would be an impossibility, she wouldn't want that.
"There won't be another marriage Piers I can tell you that. It was the perfect one and done for me."
