Volunteers and authorities unite to clean up flood-stricken Romania
Thousands of houses have been affected, with many requiring weeks or months to become habitable again.
Villages like Cudalbi have seen water levels rise to 2 metres, damaging over 700 homes. Volunteers and authorities are helping with mud removal, and some affected residents may receive vouchers for new appliances.
Despite the destruction, the community is pulling together with support from volunteers helping to ease the burden of recovery.
