More wallabies have been shot dead at a Townsville university, the second such case in less than a week.

Two carcasses have been found on a sports field at the city's James Cook University campus. Three other wallabies that were also shot were found on the campus on Friday last week.

The latest killings are believed to have happened sometime on Wednesday night or early Thursday morning.
