Designer looks for budget prices? We'll take one of everything. (Walmart)

Fall is a great time to refresh your home — the holidays are just around the corner. (You'll want to grab that daybed below. Read on...). As Yahoo's resident interior designer, I was amazed at the high-end, design-worthy styles I found at the Walmart Holiday Deals event. I'm talking about impeccable pieces that already had incredibly reasonable retail prices to start. Layer in Walmart's impressive discounts and you can afford to add everything to your cart and still splurge on a spa day.

Some of my favorite deals are from popular brands like Better Homes & Gardens and Drew Barrymore's Beautiful line. You'll also want to check out the jaw-dropping price on this bestselling entryway table I found — it's down to $63 (was $300) and the epic discount on these microfiber sheets (you'll want a set for every bedroom in the house).

There's more to explore, but I've curated some of my favorite furniture pieces below from Walmart's big sale. But this event ends today so get these deals before they disappear!

I love a bed with a tufted headboard and upholstered base and this budget-friendly find is a real steal. A classic, it blends with most aesthetics while providing a comfortable and visually pleasing focal point for the room. Available in dark gray (shown here or blue), there's no need for a box spring here, and it's adjustable bed compatible.

"A statement piece," said a fan. "I love how well made and sturdy the bed is. I get a compliments on it all the time. It's easy to assemble — I did it alone in a couple of hours." This reviewer agreed: "I have been having such amazing nights of sleep now with my new bed!"

You know that feeling of sliding into crisp sheets in a nice hotel? Well, you can have that same five-star experience by making the bed with this microfiber sale. It comes in over 50 (yes, really!) colors so there's something to match every style and look. The queen set is 70% off and you can scoop it up in other sizes, too — twin, full and king.

Nearly 9,000 Walmart shoppers give them five stars. Said one: "Finally found perfect sheets! I have searched a lot of places to get a decent pair of sheets from my deep bed. These sheets are fantastic! They are soft, gorgeous in color and material, and I never have to fix the sheets. My old sheets always came off at the edges."

Mirrors reflect light in the room, leaving it bright and airy. Use as an accent piece in your living spaces or add one to your bedroom, dressing area or entry so you can be sure you look your best before you leave the house. The elegant arch provides detail while the frame is clean and simple. Hang on the wall or stand.

Said a practical buyer: "This mirror is good quality, stable and appealing to the eye. The finish is smooth and I bought it for a reasonable price."

I often recommend daybeds to clients to create guest rooms, for children's rooms, or as an extra place to sit and sleep in their home office. This one comes with both a trundle, for a second sleeper, and storage drawers. You're sure to get plenty of use out of this uber-functional design. Plus, with the holidays coming up, it can't hurt to have the extra beds. Use it as a comfortable sofa on the daily. Get it in gray or this fun shade of green.

"Beautiful, strong daybed — it's heavy with trundle and drawers. Excellent quality," wrote a shopper.

Is there anything Drew Barrymore can't do? Her Walmart-exclusive kitchen line is one of my faves and her furniture collection line is up there too! This loose-cushioned sectional — available in gray or taupe — adds casual elegance to your sitting rooms. It includes a left wedge, armless chair, right wedge, ottoman and three small accent pillows for a versatile layout. The stain-resistant fabric means you don't have to worry if you spill something on it!

"Perfect for our home. I saw it on the Drew Barrymore show and it was exactly like she said. It fits perfectly in our small living room and the ability to move the sections around is priceless. The quality is excellent," raved a happy homeowner.

The perfect piece for any aesthetic, this buffet cabinet can serve anywhere from the dining room and TV room to your home office. A transitional combination of rattan inset doors and mid-century lines, it works well to lighten up your space, from coastal to modern.

No matter where you put it, the ample storage in this five-foot unit will come in handy. It can also hold up to a 65-inch television weighing up to 70 pounds.

With a nod to mid-century style, this occasional chair would look fab with the cabinet above. Available in a multitude of fabrics and leathers, it's easy to get the look you want, while adding to your conversation area. Made of solid wood, it will last for years and, at this price, I recommend a pair or more!

"Can’t believe it’s from Walmart!" exclaimed a pleased purchaser. "Such an expensive look to it! It's also surprisingly super comfy. I plan to purchase another because I love it so much."

While the amazing price caught my eye, the narrow depth on this classic console is what sold me. At less than a foot deep, this is your go-anywhere accent piece: behind the sofa, along a narrow hallway wall, or get creative and use it behind your bed as a headboard. The most magical feature: It comes with tabletop outlets so you can charge your devices and plug in a lamp. I swoon for functional design!

"Bought this to go between the sofa and wall — easy to put together and seems sturdy enough for what I'm going to use it for. I love that it has both plugs and ports," said a five-star reviewer.

That empty wall needs some height. Consider a bookcase to draw the eye upward making the room feel taller — not to mention a much neater way to display your books and knick-knacks. The honey wood tones are lovely on this etagere, keeping things casual and neutral to blend with your existing furniture.

Positive reviewers like this one all share the same sentiments: "Wow, I love this bookcase. I may purchase another. So beautiful and high quality. Looks far more expensive than it was. Easy assembly and even taller than I expected."

Are your kitchen stools looking tired? These made of durable metal and wood, will last, plus this farmhouse/industrial look never goes out of style. Choose from three different heights (ranging from counter to bar height) and four different finishes.

"Wonderful," says a thrilled user. "We have had them for several months now. We love these stools. They are great quality and were easy to set up. Kids use them daily and they are holding up so well."

Part of my gig as a designer is organizing. If you're lacking space and don't have room to build in an additional closet or pantry, this tall cabinet may be your solution. It exudes coastal or country charm, all while providing a ton of storage space. Three adjustable shelves and five door shelves double your space in this unit. It also has a charging station!

"Nice and easy," said this reviewer. "Easy to put together and looks great. The soft close doors are awesome ... The light strip and extra sockets are a wonderful added feature.."
