Watch live: House panel holds border field hearing in California

The House Judiciary Committee is slated to hold a field hearing Friday titled “The Biden-Harris Border Crisis: California Perspectives,” in Santee, Calif.

The hearing will examine the effects of the current Southwest border crisis on California’s residents and communities.

Those who planned to attend Friday’s hearing include:

Michael Hestrin, district attorney, Riverside County, Calif.
John Franklin, mayor, Vista, Calif.
Cory Gautereaux, border security advocate and small business owner
Don Sharp, undersheriff, Riverside County, Calif.
John Minto, mayor, Santee, Calif.

The event is scheduled to begin at noon EDT.
