During the current coronavirus crisis, social distancing and self-isolation have changed the way that people live all over the world, affecting everything from work to relationships.

While some people are getting used to living with their partners 24/7, others are coming to terms with being apart from them for weeks or months. Meanwhile, single people have been forced to navigate dating remotely, using chat sites and even going on video dates.

However, this TikTok user has taken quarantine dating to the next level, flirting with his neighbour from afar using techniques as wild as a drone and an inflatable hamster ball.

TikToker Jeremy Cohen, who lives in Brooklyn, New York, documented his first few dates with Tori Cignarella on the app, and honestly it's the cutest thing you'll see today.

Jeremy started by filming Tori dancing to a TikTok song on her roof, showing them waving to each other across the street. Then, he took things to the next level, writing his phone number on a drone and flying it over to Tori - which was clearly a success as she texted him an hour later.

In his voiceover, Jeremy can be heard saying, "Flirting is usually daunting for me. But since I've been quarantined in my apartment for a week now, I was craving some social interaction. 2020 has been off to a terrible start, but I still needed to shoot my shot." Couldn't agree more, Jeremy.

In the second video, Jeremy and Tori went on a dinner date, quarantine-style. Obviously unable to meet in person, they ate dinner separately on their respective roof and balcony while on FaceTime to one another. Jeremy even enlisted the help of Tori's roommate to set it up. Adorable.

Jeremy also told his followers, "Depending on how long this quarantine lasts, I might be in a long-distance relationship with someone who lives across the street from me." We hope so!

Just when we thought this story couldn't possibly get any cuter, Jeremy managed to out-do himself in his final video. Making his "boldest move yet," Jeremy headed round to Tori's concealed in a blow-up hamster ball, no less. He brought flowers and they even managed a walk touching hands either side of the zorb. Honestly, relationship goals.

Jeremy ended his TikTok with a thoughtful message for us all: "Just because we social distance doesn't mean we have to be socially distant. Remember to spread love and kindness to one another."
