Closing out 2024, Netflix is giving us a boat load of new TV shows and movies, like Black Doves starring Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw, No Good Deed with Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano, and new seasons of Squid Game and Virgin River. But with that a number of beloved films and shows are leaving the streaming site in Canada, like Mean Girls with Lindsay Lohan, and The Blind Side with Sandra Bullock.

Shortly after the tragic death of Liam Payne, One Direction fans don't have much longer to watch One Direction: This Is Us on Netflix. The 2013 documentary chronicles the rise to fame for the internationally renown boy band.

Comedy fans are losing the American Pie film series on Netflix, with all four movies being removed in December. Additionally, the Bourne film franchise with Matt Damon is leaving Netflix as well.

The Oscar-winning film The Dark Knight, with the late Heath Ledger as the Joker, is leaving Netflix in December, along with The Dark Knight Rises. This is also your last chance to watch the 1976 film Taxi Driver, starring Robert De Niro and directed by Martin Scorsese, on the streaming site.

Additionally, Monster-in-Law with Jennifer Lopez and Jane Fonda, Inception starring Leonardo DiCaprio, Greta Gerwig's Little Women, Kiss the Girls with Morgan Freeman, and Pride & Prejudice starring Keira Knightley and Matthew Macfadyen are all being removed from Netflix in December.

Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw pair up for the upcoming witty espionage series, set in London during the Christmas holiday. Helen Webb (Knightley) is a mother, married to a politician, but she actually works for a spy organization called the Black Doves.

When Helen's secret lover Jason (Andrew Koji) is assassinated, her boss Reed (Sarah Lancashire) reunites Helen with her old friend Sam (Whishaw) to provide more security. But as they investigate who killed Jason, the situation gets increasingly more intertwined and complicated.

TV legends Lisa Kudrow and Ray Romano lead No Good Deed, keeping true to Liz Feldman's signature style we loved in Dead to Me, combining hysterical comedy with elements of mystery storytelling.

Lydia (Kudrow) and Paul (Romano) are selling their California house, with the desirable Spanish-style home attracting several interested buyers. As different families battle to get possession of the house, Lydia and Paul try to hide all the terrifying things that happened within those walls.

The series also stars Linda Cardellini, O-T Fagbenle, Abbi Jacobson, Denis Leary, Poppy Liu, Teyonah Parris and Luke Wilson.

Taron Egerton plays a young TSA agent, Ethan, who is blackmailed by a traveller to get a dangerous package on a Christmas Eve flight.

Carry-On also stars Sofia Carson, Danielle Deadwyler, Logan Marshall-Green, Dean Norris, Sinqua Walls and Jason Bateman.

The beloved romantic drama Virgin River is back for Season 6, which will take us on the journey to Mel (Alexandra Breckenridge) and Jack’s (Martin Henderson) wedding.

The season begins a few months after the Christmas send off in Season 5, with new additions to the cast, Jessica Rothe and Callum Kerr, coming on board. They join the actors we already love, Tim Matheson, Annette O’Toole, Colin Lawrence, Benjamin Hollingsworth, Zibby Allen, Sarah Dugdale, Marco Grazzini, Mark Ghanimé, Kai Bradbury, and Kandyse McClure.

It's been more than three years since Squid Game landed on Netflix and took the world by storm, and we finally get a second season of the famed series in December.

Player 456, or Gi-hun, played by Lee Jung-jae, returns with the goal to hopefully put an end to this deadly competition.

"Season 2 explores how Gi-hun follows through on his words after leaving the airport,” the show's creator Hwang Dong-hyuk said in a behind-the-scenes featurette. “Gi-hun’s endeavour to find out who these people are and why they do what they do is the core story of Season 2.”
