Where is Doctor Who's supporting cast now?
It's not been too tough to trace the trajectories of Doctor Who's former leads – David Tennant's brooding up a storm on Broadchurch, Karen Gillan's doing bloomin' Marvellous, Jenna Coleman is the Queen of ITV and Matt Smith is Netflix's royal consort.
But what about the supporting players? The Doctor's friends and family– and friends' family –who have appeared on the show in the last decade or so?
We've looked them up – along with a few major players who got their big break on Who.
1. Camille Coduri (Jackie Tyler)
Rose's mum was big-mouthed and bolshy but with a heart of gold. She ended up living on a parallel Earth, happily shacked up with an alternate-universe version of her dead husband. (Don't ask.)
Coduri's gone on to appear in BBC Three sitcom Him & Her (which won a BAFTA) and ITV's '80s-set comedy Edge of Heaven (which didn't). Her most recent credit was in an episode of the Peter Kay-starring Cradle to Grave in 2015.
2. Noel Clarke (Mickey Smith)
From Mickey the idiot, Rose's hapless boyfriend, to Mickey Smith, defender of the Earth, Noel Clarke's mechanic went on quite a journey across his five years on Who.
Since the character's last appearance in 2010, he's continued to act on screens big – playing a small role in 2013's Star Trek Into Darkness – and small, with lead roles in two ITV crime thrillers, Chasing Shadows (2014) and The Level (2016).
He's also worked extensively behind the camera, with four films under his belt as a director, most recently 2016's Brotherhood (the concluding chapter of his 'Hood film trilogy).
3. Bruno Langley (Adam Mitchell)
The companion that couldn't. The sole purpose of Adam – a selfish idiot who didn't take to TARDIS travel – was to prove just how bloody amazing Rose Tyler was. We get it – she's great.
Langley's Doctor Who stint came in 2005, shortly after he'd left Coronation Street after a 3-year stint as Todd Grimshaw, the soap's first openly gay character.
He returned to Corrie for two guest stints in 2007 and 2011, before rejoining as a permanent fixture in 2013. He was recently dropped from the show shortly before pleading guilty to sexual assault.
4. Shaun Dingwall (Pete Tyler)
Dingwall played both the original Pete Tyler, the subject of 2005's tear-jerking 'Father's Day', and his parallel world double.
Since then (and before then, to be fair) he's made murky ITV thrillers his bread and butter, with regular roles in Above Suspicion (2009-12), DCI Banks (2016) and most recently Rowan Atkinson's new Maigret (2016-present).
5. Florence Hoath (Nancy)
"I am your Mummy!" – Hoath delivered one of the standout guest performances in Doctor Who's 2005 series as single-mother Nancy in spooky two-parter 'The Empty Child / The Doctor Dances'.
That same year, she appeared in 50 episodes of Channel 5 soap Family Affairs (remember that?) and, in 2008, guested on Doctors and starred in another time-travel drama of sorts, ITV's Lost in Austen (about a modern girl trapped in Pride and Prejudice. She played Kitty Bennet).

6. Andrew Hayden-Smith (Jake Simmonds)
In series two, Jake was a resistance fighter on a parallel Earth plagued by the Cybermen – and the boyfriend of Mickey's double, Ricky Smith.
Already well-known pre-Who as a TV host and for his eight-year stint as Ben Carter on Byker Grove, Hayden-Smith continues to work as a presenter and actor. He reunited with Russell T Davies for his Channel 4 twosome Cucumber / Banana in 2015 and now recurs on Hollyoaks as copper DS Armstrong.
7. Adjoa Andoh (Francine Jones)
Martha Jones's mum was fiercely protective of her daughter, dealing out a slap and a few harsh words to David Tennant's cocky tenth Doctor.
The character last appeared in 2008 and in the nine years since, Andoh's been a regular fixture on British television. She's recurred on ITV's Law & Order: UK (2011–14), appeared opposite Noel Clarke in Chasing Shadows and, like Hayden-Smith, teamed with RTD again on Cucumber.
She currently voices Colonel Casey in ITV's Thunderbirds Are Go! animated series. Sounds FAB to us.
8. Gugu Mbatha-Raw (Tish Jones)
Martha's sister Tish was a PR consultant who always seemed to land the wrong gig – working first with mad scientist Richard Lazarus (Mark Gatiss) and later The Master (John Simm).
Mbatha-Raw's career has exploded since she appeared on Doctor Who in 2007. She won awards and rave reviews for her performance in 2013 film Belle – about the mixed-race daughter of a Royal Navy Admiral, raised by her aristocratic great-uncle in 18th-century England.
Her turn as the vivacious Kelly in last year's Black Mirror episode 'San Junipero' also went down a storm, and she then booked roles in the live-action Beauty and the Beast and the next Cloverfield movie.
9. Carey Mulligan (Sally Sparrow)
The heroine of one of modern Doctor Who's all-time great episodes, Sally Sparrow battled the Weeping Angels in 'Blink'.
Ten years on and Mulligan's a bona fide Hollywood star – an Oscar-nominated performance in 2009's coming-of-age drama An Education saw her land leading roles in Drive (2011) with Ryan Gosling and The Great Gatsby (2013) opposite Leo DiCaprio.
She tackled the challenging drama Suffragette in 2015 and has three projects lined up this year, including Paul Dano's directorial debut Wildlife.
10. Georgia Moffett (Jenny)
Jenny was the Doctor's "daughter" – or at least, an artificially created being produced from a sample of his DNA.
After appearing together on Doctor Who, Moffett – the daughter of former Doctor Peter Davison – ended up marrying David Tennant. Which means the fifth Doctor is now the tenth Doctor's father-in-law... Which is a bit amazing.
She's continued acting since her 2008 Who stint, with appearances on Casualty and Holby City (as two different characters), Merlin and the sitcom White Van Man.
In 2015, she produced and starred in a short film, 96 Ways To Say I Love You, which co-starred Tennant and premiered at the London Independent Film Festival in April of that year.
