Where is Selling Sunset filmed? The LA filming locations to add to your travel bucket list

Netflix’s Selling Sunset is launching its third series on August 7 and we couldn’t be more excited. If you’re not down with this show yet, it’s a docu-soap centred around the Oppenheim Group, a seriously high end realty business (that’s estate agent to you and me) in Los Angeles run by twins Brett and Jason.

Basically, it's an excuse to gawp at ludicrously large mansions in Beverly Hills. Oh, except the lives of the super glamorous employees are as compelling as the infinity pools and private movie theatres.

Will Mary Fitzgerald’s 27-year-old husband Romain want kids anytime soon? Will Chrishell Stause get over her much publicised divorce? Will Christine Quinn have exotic animals at her wedding (her engagement party featured a real zebra)? And who sold the $44 million house? These are the questions we need to know, but in the mean time here’s a guide to where the cast work, rest and play…

The key Selling Sunset locations you need to know

The Oppenheim Group

First off, the Oppenheim Group offices lie on the corner of Sunset Blvd and Sunset Plaza Drive and are glass fronted, meaning you can stroll by and take a peek at Heather, Christine, Chrishell, Amanza, Mary, Davina and Maya hard at work. It's an open-plan office, which even has a bar and coffee cart.

Farmhouse restaurant

Farmhouse restaurant in Beverly Hills’ Beverly Center is very LA. Think plants hanging from the ceiling and seasonal ingredients supplied by a regional family farm to produce dishes like eight-hour braised lam with roasted carrots and almonds. The team lunched there to celebrate a 25 per cent rise in profits ($300,000 million yearly turnover, not bad). LA Weekly says is the ultimate ‘seed-to-table dining experience’, though we mostly saw the cast sip Champagne tbh.

Le Petit Four

You can’t miss the bright yellow awnings of Le Petit Four restaurant on Sunset Plaza, where Christine, Davina and Maya chatted about Romain not inviting Davina to the wedding over a French Toast brunch. It’s an iconic West Hollywood dining spot with lots of tables on the sidewalk and celeb clientele who love the basic yet totally tasty menu, like seafood pasta, pizza margarita and steak au poivre.

ChitChat cafe

In episode three of season two Christine, Heather and Davina sashayed into cute neighbourhood cafe ChitChat on Sawtelle Blvd for chai tea lattes and a gossip about new girl Amanza on the outside terrace. Bitching aside, this is a great place for take out organic coffee and really good pastries.

EB Florals

A live zebra and performers with flaming hula-hoops were just some of the interesting additions to Christine’s infamous engagement party, which took place at EB Florals a mid-century building on Beverly Blvd housing a boutique selling fragrances, art gallery and event spaces including several courtyards. It’s run by celeb florist Eric Buterbaugh and Naomi Campbell, Demi Moore and Nicole Ritchie are rumoured to be fans.

The Henry

Mary and Romain discussed their wedding plans over cocktails at The Henry; a classy bar with green and white awnings and al fresco chairs and tables on Robertson Blvd in hip West Hollywood.

Pour Vous

Pour Vous on Melrose Avenue is a lounge bar famous for it burlesque dancers in cages and kick ass cocktails like L’aphrodisiac, and was the scene of Mary’s bachelorette party. Or at least the first one. Amanza cheekily organised a second hen party at her house which Christine, Heather and Davina weren’t invited to but found out about via Instagram. Awkward.

Flora Vere

And Mary’s wedding dress shopping? Took place in Flora Vere at Melrose Place. Probably the coolest bridal boutique we’ve ever seen, this place sells everything from white pantsuits to floaty fairytale gowns which the gang viewed while sipping glasses of bubbly.

And what about the Selling Sunset properties?

The show’s property porn is off-the-scale and we’re expecting more of the same in series three. Right now the Oppenheim Group has some seriously jaw-dropping real estate on its books.

If you’ve got a spare $75 million, Davina’s dream listing is still on the market in Beverly Hills. With seven bedrooms and 10 bathrooms, you can have friends to stay and there’s also a gym, movie room, wine cellar and the biggest pool in the area.

For $25 million you could snap up this six bedroom, 10 bathroom retreat in the Hollywood Hills where extras include a library, bar and sauna.

Or how about a Sunset Strip location with views overlooking Downtown LA, open-plan indoor/outdoor living, spa, lift and garage for five cars at Londonderry Place for $11 million?

Oh we just LOVE Selling Sunset.
