Why the Queen is 'livid' with Kate Middleton
They may be full of smiles when they’re out and about on official royal engagements, but according to reports, the Queen is furious with Kate Middleton.
The 35-year-old Duchess of Cambridge has apparently requested that she be less involved with royal duties and focus on being amother to two-year-old Princess Charlotte and four-year-old Prince George.
However, while Kate might prefer to be at home with her kids, it’s said the Queen is less than pleased about the change in events and is letting her feelings be known.
"The 91-year-old monarch was livid that the future Queen of England would want to lessen her duties,” an insider told Life & Style.
“Prince William told her Kate wants her public appearances kept to a minimum and he's 100 percent behind her.

“The conversation was quite icy.”
While Kate might want to lessen her duties, it seems the Queen is keen for her to step them up, as she sees them as the future of the monarchy and takes it very seriously.
It comes after Kate Middleton was suffering from extreme morning sickness recently as kept away from public engagements.
However, the Duchess has been seen back out-and about recently and it was even announced that she will make a trip to Poland with Prince William in February next year.
