Woman calls out 'disgusting' X-rated act at popular Aussie beach
The fed-up Queenslander says it's not the first time she has seen the man do this at the same beach, and is warning other women to beware.
A "furious" Aussie beachgoer has issued a warning to fellow women everywhere to be on the look out for "creeps" on the sand, after she allegedly spotted a man masturbating at a secluded swimming spot while staring right at her.
Queensland woman Ashleigh Blake said she was alone at First Bay at Coolum Beach on the Sunshine Coast on September 18 when she spotted "a buck naked man touching himself while looking at me". "It was broad f***ing daylight," she said in an online video.
Blake claimed it wasn't the first time she'd spotted the man expose himself, noting she instantly recognised him from previous encounters at the beach. "He was showing me — gladly — that he was jerking off on the beach and it was disgusting," she said, adding that she has since shown the minute-long footage she recorded to the police.
"I'm here to warn women, especially on the Sunshine Coast, because men are f***ing c***s. This beach in particular is called First Bay. It is in Coolum Beach, it is a small, little secluded cove that I love because it is quiet. But the only issue with it is this man. He is there every single time and he is always naked."
Police encourage witnesses to come forward after alleged indecent exposure
Speaking to Yahoo News Australia, a Queensland Police Service spokeswoman urged witnesses who may have encountered the man to come forward. "Initial investigations indicate a man exposed himself and was behaving indecently on the beach around 2pm," she told Yahoo.
"He reportedly left the scene when confronted by a member of the public. Witnesses or anyone with information is urged to contact police. Investigations are continuing."
Blake went on to claim the alleged offender "only covers himself up when a man is nearby" — but when it's just women, "he will happily lay uncovered with his d**k out". "It's disgusting. It's foul," she said.

On the day of the most recent incident, Blake said two girls aged around 15 and 16 were nearby when the indecent act took place. Blake said her video goes for a minute but the man's act went on for three minutes. She saw him quickly cover himself and realised it was because her boyfriend was coming in from the surf. She the confronted the man in a rage. Stunned, he quickly fled, not via the main beach exit but instead "up into the cliff, into the trees, and disappeared", Blake said.
Other women claim to have witnessed offensive beach act
"I'm so glad I got a video of him. I just need to come on here and talk about this, because there are so many women out there who do not have that kind of voice," Blake said. "I need s**t like this to be spoken about more. Because this is not okay."
Women responding to the video claimed they'd also seen the man at the same beach.
"This happened to me and my friend at this exact location," one woman said. "Why is it always the Sunshine Coast — I know so many people that this has happened to," echoed a second.
