New mum's chilling Facebook post moments before baby son's fatal stabbing

A mum took to Facebook to gush about her newborn moments before he was allegedly stabbed to death by his father.

Andreea Stefan, 21, revealed her joy of giving birth to three-week-old son Andrei on Facebook but he was rushed to hospital after being attacked in his home in Newcastle, northeast England, on October 2, local publication Chronicle Live reported.

“I asked God to send me a man who will always love me. So, he gave me a son,” her post read, the same day of the alleged stabbing attack.

Andrei died four days later in hospital. Andreaa, who was also critically injured, is recovering in hospital.

The boy’s father Denis Erdinch Beytula, 27, has been charged with two counts of attempted murder.

He remains in custody and will front court on October 31.

“This is a devastating time for the baby’s family... it is impossible to imagine what they are going through” Detective Chief Inspector Dave Cole said.

Further posts on Andreea’s Facebook reveals how the mother was eager to become a mum.

One picture shows her wearing a T-shirt which says ‘Baby Loading’ while she shared several photos of her with a baby bump.

According to Chronicle Live, Andrei was baptised in hospital following the attack.
