Woman's clever act after accepting spiked drink from stranger

A woman has detailed a terrifying encounter with a group of men who spiked her and a friend's drink on a night out.

TikTok star Aili posted a video in the hopes it would stop somebody else from falling victim to a drink spiking.

She said she and her friend went out for drinks to a bar in the US city of Seattle when her friend was buying their second round.

While standing behind her friend, a man approached Aili and asked to buy her a drink.

After politely refusing the offer, she and her friend took their drinks and sat on an outdoor patio.

The man who offered her a drink and his two friends then came and sat on a table nearby.

"At this point we thought nothing of it because you never do," she said in the TikTok video.

"So we just continued on with our night and ended up hitting the dance floor."

Aili said she and a friend were having "the time of our lives" until the men appeared near them on the dance floor.

Woman's clever act after accepting 'spiked' drink

The woman said the men were persistent in trying to dance with them and two of them "shoved" beers in their hands.

"They didn't say: 'We bought you these drinks', they didn't say: 'Did you want a drink?', they just put them in our hands," she said.

"My friend started drinking hers immediately and as I put [the drink] up to my lips, a voice in my head said: 'Do not drink that'.

"I put it back in his hand and I said: 'You drink it'. He literally backed away and all he could say was no. So I pushed it out again and said, 'Take a drink', and he said: 'No, I got it for you'.

"I was like: 'I don't want it, let me see you take a drink'. He wouldn't even take the drink for me so I immediately stopped my friend from drinking, grabbed her by the arm and I said: 'We're leaving'."

Aili said one of the men followed them as they left the bar and she had to physically push him off.

"My friend went from being able to dance with me and talk to me to stumbling around, barely able to form a sentence," she said.

Aili added as they were waiting for the Uber she "felt eyes" on her.

"I turned around and I saw the two men standing on the steps, staring at us," she said.

When she alerted security, she turned around and the men were gone.

"We made it home safe ... but I know there's so many women out there who don't," she said.

"Please share this with someone that you think needs to hear it. And always, always trust your intuition, if something doesn't feel right, it's because it is not."

'That's so scary': People online praise woman's quick thinking

Aili later commented on the video her friend was safe but they were filing a report with the police and contacting the bar.

People praised the woman for her quick-thinking act after being given the drink.

"You saved you and your friend's life," one said.

"I don't know a woman who doesn't have a story like this," another commented.

"That's so scary," a third added.
