Woman's strange X-rated find cleaning out mother-in-law's home: 'XXL sized'

A woman is desperately calling on people without a dirty mind to help her figure out what this x-rated looking object she found in her mother-in-law's home is.

Sharing a picture of some sort of doily, the woman explained she had found two of them while cleaning out her mother-in-law's home.

Admittedly, the "doily thingies", crafted in various hues of pink do look somewhat phallic.

"Please tell me this is not what we think it is," she pleaded on Facebook.

"There has to be an innocent use for them like a candlestick cozy or something?"

"XXL sized... go, grandma!" someone who does not have an innocent mind commented.

Most people got a good laugh out of the photo and a few people enjoyed the thought of the mother-in-law crocheting whatever it was.

There were a few people who gave some valid explanations as to what it was — although no consensus was reached.

A few people said it was a crochet bouquet holder, though one person did admit it looked "so wrong" without the flowers.

Another person suggested it could have been used to hold rounded items while at the grocery store, like onions and oranges, instead of putting them into a plastic bag.

Some thought perhaps it could be a candlestick holder as the woman had previously suggested.

One person insisted it was "not a sexual item" and explained people who crochet not only make cosies for everything and sometimes will "make all kinds of stuffed things".

"This works for candles or a vase that's not being used, but it also looks like it would work for a bouquet of flowers, or as part of a larger piece of crochet art," they said.
