The eager tot, in video uploaded to the internet, gains speed as he navigates the hallowed stone turf and, picking up the pace, then trips and falls on his face.
Guests rushed to the boy's aid but he got back up and presumably finished the task he was charged.
He's certainly not the first wedding guest to slip up at a ceremony, and won't be the last.
