YouTube couple who trashed vaccines die from Covid weeks apart

An anti-vaxx couple who claimed Covid-19 vaccinations weren't "real" have now both reportedly died from Covid-19.

Dusty and Tristan Graham, from the US state of Alabama, were known for their YouTube channel “Alabama Pickers”, where they posted videos of them travelling around the state finding vintage items to sell on eBay.

Their YouTube channel has since been taken down, but one of their last videos was reposted to another YouTube channel "Vaxx Man", which is run in conjunction with a website titled sorryantivaxxer.com.

According to the website, the aim is to so share a "repository of stories of anti-vaxxers who died or came close to dying of Covid needlessly from their own scientifically unsound and stubborn beliefs".

The website, it says, aims to "help keep more people from making the same mistake."

According to the Social Blade, the couple's channel had about 10,600 subscribers before it was removed from the platform.

Not a 'real' vaccine, claimed Youtubers

In the video — which runs for over an hour-and-a-half — the couple discussed the pandemic and Covid vaccination, saying they won't be getting the jab.

“I’ve got my own passport. It’s called my birth certificate and the constitution," Mr Graham declared in the video.

“I think this will be all behind us in a couple of years.”

The couple then mention the introduction of vaccine passports in the US, which Mrs Graham called "racist".

"The reality is, even though they're classifying this as vaccine it's technically a therapy, it's an immunity therapy," he claimed.

"I don't know guys. Here's the deal: It's been a year. I haven't had it yet."

The couple then talked about illnesses they had survived already, including bone cancer, which Tristan was diagnosed with at 15.

According to AL.com, Mrs Graham died on August 25 in her sleep, her husband died three weeks later.

A week before Mr Graham died, the couple's daughter Windsor wrote in a now-deleted Facebook post that he had been moved to a ventilator.

"I want to thank everybody that reached out to check on my brother and I," she wrote, according to AL.com.

"For now, it's just waiting and praying his body relaxes."

Mr Graham started a GoFundMe page from the intensive care unit two days after his wife's death, which has raised about $33,000 ($24,000USD).

Windsor confirmed in a comment on the GoFundMe page that both her parents had passed away from Covid complications.

"Thank you all for your kind words and helping us during this difficult time," she wrote.

"We will be using the money to pay for funeral expenses."
