Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has arrived in Berlin to attend the Ukraine Recovery Conference (URC2024), he announced via Telegram on June 10.

Besides the upcoming event, he plans to meet with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz during his visit.

“URC2024 will bring together governments, ten of which will be represented at the prime ministerial level, companies, and organizations to help Ukraine,” said Zelenskyy.

“Given the ongoing Russian air terror, urgent decisions for the Ukrainian energy sector will be our main priority.”

According to Zelenskyy, during his meeting with Scholz, they plan to discuss further defense support, development of the Ukrainian air defense system, joint weapons manufacturing, and to "coordinate positions ahead of the Global Peace Summit, the European Council summit, and the NATO summit."

"I will also meet with German President Frank-Walter Steinmeier and Bundestag President Bärbel Bas and visit a military base where our soldiers are training," the message added.
