In the photo, the 1000-Lb. Sisters star, 37, sits alongside her friend, psychic Haley Michelle, who captioned the photo “Excited for our Next Girls Trip 💙 #girlstrip #girltrip2024 #staytuned.”
The twosome were joined on their girls’ trip by a third friend, Paola Román, and documented the trip with frequent online posts — although some fans of the reality star questioned Slaton's friendship with Michelle, a self-described “paranormal princess.”
"I don’t like this friendship. It feels off," wrote one fan, while others claimed Michelle was using Slaton for “clout.”
Michelle responded to the criticism in a post: “Tammy is the one who wanted to do half these photos and videos because we were having fun !! Get a life and stop trying to waste your time figuring out mine specially when you have none of the facts straight !!”
The psychic has alluded to she and Slaton being reincarnated friends in another TikTok, writing, “Finally reunited in this lifetime, I’ve missed you 🥹💜 @Tammy slaton #pastlives #spiritualtiktok #1000lbsisters #paranormaltiktok.”

Last week they posted a silly video from their trip where they re-enacted a scene from the 2007 live-action film Alvin and the Chipmunks, where the chipmunks break into Jason Lee’s house in search of food. “It’s a food ghost town in here,” said Román in a rare video appearance as she lipcynced audio from chipmunk Theodore.
Slaton, as brainiac chipmunk Simon, pops out from behind a tree and calls out to Alvin, played by Michelle, who bursts into frame to announce that “the cheese balls are in the hiz-ouse.”

“I never do videos like this, it was so much fun ❤️,” Michelle captioned her video.
They also shared short videos of themselves toasting drinks, and sharing breakfast at the hotel in the morning, as well as a shot of Michelle doing Slaton’s makeup.

As Michelle wrote in one caption — perhaps alluding to the critics of their friendship — “Spiritual Sisters , our powerful connection we don’t have to explain anything to anyone . You are my Best Friend 💙.”
