The sisters joined a psychic at a haunted library and jokingly referred to the witches of 'Hocus Pocus': 'Sanderson Sisters Eat Your Heart Out''
“Sanderson sisters, eat your heart out,” Amy, 36, posted on TikTok as she shared a video of the threesome striding through the Willard Public Library in Evansville, Ind. The trio served up their best impression of the evil witches, played by Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, and Kathy Najimy in the iconic 1993 film and its 2022 sequel.
The Willard Library is allegedly haunted — there are even webcams which allow visitors to the website to virtually hunt for ghosts in the various rooms — and according to Michelle's social media profiles, is a psychic medium and paranormal investigator.
It’s not clear if the sisters were visiting the library for an upcoming episode of their reality hit 1,000-Lb. Sisters — they live in Kentucky — but they did embrace the spooky vibes of the place, saying they had a “blast” during their visit.
“If I could turn back on and find a way, I’d go back yesterday because we had a blast can’t wait to hang out again,” Tammy, 37, posted on Instagram, adding the hashtags “#sandersonsisters #favouritesister #witchysisters #greatday.”
Haley Michelle echoed Tammy’s sentiments, writing, “I wish I could go back to yesterday with my girls we had so much fun” in her own Instagram post.
She also praised the sisters, writing “Tammy & Amy are Queens 🖤✨” on another Instagram video, which showed the threesome doing their Sanderson impression on the library stairs.
Slaton — who had bariatric surgery in July 2022 and is now down to 285 lbs. — recently opened up to PEOPLE about her 440-lb. weight loss, and shared that being able to walk unaided was an emotional turning point for her.
“One of the big changes that I have gone through this past year is probably small to most people,” she told PEOPLE. “But for me it was huge.”
“Just being able to walk without a walker or be pushed in a wheelchair, and no oxygen. I don't even sleep with it at night anymore,” Tammy said.
“What seems minor to some people is giant for me.”
“The beach is beautiful,” she said. “The way people talk about the beach and how they paint it and show it on TV, it’s beautiful. But it’s nothing like seeing it in person.”
It’s one of several milestones for the reality star, who recently shared that she was able to buckle her car seatbelt for the first time.
“Sitting in the front seat, it's like a whole new world,” she said. “You're experiencing everything from a different point of view. Instead of being the second person to see stuff, you're the first person.”
