87-year-old pedestrian in hospital after an east-end crash Monday morning

A 87-year-old has been taken to hospital with serious injuries, Windsor police say, after a crash in the city's east end Monday morning.

Police say the collision reconstruction unit is investigating the crash that happened in the 11500 block of McNorton Street, near Heron Terrace retirement home and East Riverside Park, just after 8 a.m.

Officers have determined a vehicle was travelling eastbound on the road and hit a pedestrian. Police have not released a description of the vehicle.

A 87-year-old was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
