Dramatic moment ISIS suicide vehicle was blown to bits as it neared its target

Dramatic video believed to be of an Islamic State suicide car exploding spectacularly after being struck a missile as it sped towards its apparent target has emerged.

The Sun reports that the vehicle was speeding towards a group of Syrian troops before it was blown up by a missile.

It is believed that the missile was delivered by Kurds battling to gain territory in north-eastern Syria.

The weapon thought to have been used in the deadly assault was a FGM-148 Javelin missile, according to early reports.

The footage will remind readers of footage which emerged in April last year after a suicide bomber tried to launch attack on Kurdish Peshmerga forces near Kirkuk in Iraq.

The dramatic moment the car, filled with explosives, was launched 100 feet into the air was captured on camera and shared round the world.

The car appears to have been hit by a roadside bomb as it is catapulted into air.

As it begins to fall back to the ground the car detonates like a firework and what is left falls back down to earth.

The two videos are just some of the ones that have been released by Kurdish forces fighting against ISIS in Iraq.
