Alanis Morissette Shares Rare Photo of Daughter Onyx, 7, as She Does Her Mom's Makeup on Tour: 'A Master'

The "Ironic" singer is mom to sons Winter, 4, and Ever, 13, plus daughter Onyx, 8 this month

Alanis Morissette is introducing fans to an adorable member of her glam squad.

The "Ironic" singer, 50, shared a sweet snap on Instagram on Wednesday, June 19, of her daughter Onyx Solace, 8, doing her mom's makeup on tour. The little one can be seen standing in between her mom's legs as she holds a makeup brush up to her face.

"I like to do my own makeup for most of my tour. but sometimes, a master appears to show me how it’s done. 🎨🧑🏼‍🎨 #houston #texaslove 🤩," the proud mom of three sweetly captioned the photo.

Back in 2022, the singer-songwriter revealed that Onyx doesn't call her mom.

Appearing on the Gary Bryan Morning Show on Audacy's K-EARTH 101 in October 2022, Morissette said, "My daughter has taken to calling me by my full name because she notices that no one uses my full name when we're in personal environments. So instead of saying 'mom,' she'll say, 'Alanis Morissette.'"

In the same interview, Morissette also noted that her three kids are listeners of her music.

"They do [listen], even when I'm like 'shut that off!' " she said with a laugh. "They're so sweet."
