Amy Robach Is 'Proud' to Have Finished New York City Marathon with Boyfriend T.J. Holmes by Her Side

"YOU make this race the greatest marathon in the world," she wrote of those who cheered on runners Sunday

Amy Robach may have already finished the New York City Marathon with T.J. Holmes, but the celebration of has only just begun!

On Monday, a day after she and her former GMA3: What You Need to Know co-anchor crossed the 2023 TCS New York City Marathon finish line, Robach shared some of her excitement to Instagram.

Posting an image of herself, 50, and boyfriend Holmes, 46, at the finish line, the journalist toasted the 26.2-mile achievement with her followers.

"NYC marathon always makes me proud to be a New Yorker," she captioned a post.

"Thank you, everyone for lining the streets and cheering us 50,000 runners on for the full 26.2!! YOU make this race the greatest marathon in the world."

Elsewhere on Instagram, Robach shared an image published Sunday by PEOPLE of her wiping of Holmes' face at the finish line, as well as a shot of the pair posing with their well-deserved medals a little later in the night.

"Post race clean up," she captioned one image, adding a laughing emoji.

The pair managed to keep pace with each other throughout the marathon on Sunday, as Holmes wore an all-black athletic outfit while Robach opted for a dark green top and black leggings. During the race, Holmes continued to update his Instagram Story on their collective progress, positing images of mile markers and silly signs he spotted along the way.

Sunday marked the second time the pair have finished the New York City Marathon together, following their run in 2022, and it came seven months after they ran the United Airlines NYC Half Marathon together in March.

After this year's race, Holmes shared a selfie to his Instagram — taken by his youngest daughter, Sabine — as she smiled while watching her dad run the marathon.

"#Cheeringsection ❤️ #BabySabine #NYCMarathon," he captioned the image.

Before their latest triumph in the Big Apple, Robach and Holmes went "Instagram-official" with their relationship last week, and announced that they'll be joining forces for a new podcast from iHeartMedia — months after PEOPLE confirmed in January that they would not be returning to their GMA3 positions following news of their romance.

In a press release for the new project, called Amy & T.J., it was revealed that the pair would be hosting and executive producing the podcast while also working on a "full slate of upcoming programming for iHeartPodcasts."

The podcast will launch on Dec. 5 and is described as "informative, entertaining, and above all, authentic," according to the release.

"Hosts and executive producers Robach and Holmes are a formidable broadcasting team with decades of experience delivering headline news and captivating viewers nationwide," the release stated.

"Now, the duo will get behind the microphone to explore meaningful conversations about current events, pop culture, and everything in between," it continued. "Nothing is off limits."
