Amy Schumer knows that nothing can ever replace Mom.

The comedian and actress, 42, appeared on a new episode of the Kelly Corrigan Wonders: About Your Mother podcast, co-hosted Christy Turlington Burns in support of Every Mother Counts, where she spoke about the ever-evolving role of dads in society.

Talking about her own family, Schumer says, "And I say that I'm the breadwinner. I’m working." Speaking about her husband Chris Fischer, the proud mom says, "You know, he has so many jobs that a mom has, but Mom is still Mom.”

“And I’m sorry, because I really don’t mean for that to be reductive to the many great fathers and especially same-sex couples raising kids," Schumer continues.

"I do think that women are great communicators. And when we look at the condition of the world and whatever, it’s just like we don’t have the dads organize a birthday party," she jokes. "But we’re having them navigate global [issues]…like women are good communicators. Can we get some women in there?"

Schumer's episode is part of About Your Mother, a special five-part series of Kelly Corrigan Wonders that features Corrigan and Turlington Burns, founder of Every Mother Counts, with guests such as Schumer, Jennifer Garner, Cindy Crawford and Bono, who reveal intimate details about the relationships with their moms and the life lessons those women passed on, with a goal of raising $100,000 for EMC.

In March, Schumer shared an update about her son Gene on her Instagram Stories, revealing that toddler sleep consultant Jessica Berk of Awesome Little Sleepers helped her son master a "bedtime routine."

"We’re finally SLEEPING again. Jessica @awesomelittlesleepers helped us create a bedtime routine for our 4 year old and now he’s going to bed 3 hours earlier than he was. We got our nights back," Schumer wrote, alongside a black-and-white photo of her and husband Fischer out for a walk.

"She seriously saved us," Schumer added. "This is not an ad. Just trying to pass on the info that helped us."
