Anti-vaxxers attack grieving mum whose baby died
It’s the devastating loss no parents should ever have to go through, but one woman has been forced to hit back following the tragic death of her son Sloan, after anti-vaccine activists were quick to point the finger of blame.
Jordan DeRosier took to Facebook with the heartbreaking news that her seven-month son Sloan had passed away.

“Our sweet rainbow warrior, your short time on this earth blessed so many,” Jordan wrote as a tribute. “You were a gift to all who knew you, and an inspiration to all who didn't.”
However just days later, Jordan was forced to address criticisms from strangers claiming vaccines were to blame.
In an incredibly heart wrenching post, Jordan revealed she hadn’t wanted to explain the tragic circumstances of Sloan’s death due to her “guilt and fear of condemnation” of others, but felt compelled to speak out.
“To those who keep commenting and messaging trying to blame vaccines for our sons death - stop,” she wrote.
“[Sloan] was last laid down to bed with this blanket made by his great-great grandmother, and one other blanket, a grey one he had been attached to since birth.
“They took the grey one he had been found with his head in. He had pulled it through the crib rails somehow and gotten himself stuck in it. You never think it will happen to you. You never think it will be your baby.
“Please do not put your babies to bed with a blanket. Please. He was 7 months old, I thought because he was crawling, standing on his own, and climbing, that he would be fine with a blanket.”
Friends and family have set up a page to help the Jordan, her husband Justin.
