There's Another Love Triangle in the White House—Here's What You Need to Know

When it comes to relationship drama, the Trump White House might as well be my high school.

The latest point of intrigue: the love life of Donald Trump Jr.

Now, we can’t help but feel a shred of sympathy for the eldest of President Donald Trump’s large adult sons—he’s going through a lot. His dad, if you haven’t heard, is reportedly on the rocks with Don Jr.’s step mom Melania thanks in no small part to an alleged affair with porn star Stormy Daniels. Not to mention, Don Jr. is also currently in the midst of his own divorce with his wife of 12 years, Vanessa Trump, the former model and tomato sauce dynasty heiress.

But it’s not all doom and gloom for Don Jr. According to Page Six, the 40-year-old is reportedly dating Kimberly Guilfoyle, an attorney, host of The Five, and a regular Fox News contributor. To fill you in on some more White House gossip, we should note that Guilfoyle, 49, was also reportedly pursued Steve “the Mooch” Scaramucci back in October. Per Page Six, the couple was never official, as the Mooch was also going through a divorce at the time.

Scaramucci is best known as one of the Trump administration’s White House Communications Directors—the one after Sean Spicer and before Hope Hicks—a position he held for a remarkable 10 days. (He’s apparently also one of Kanye West’s texting companions, because 2018 is wild.) Notably, he defended Don Jr. earlier this year over the news of the latter's meeting with Russian officials during the 2016 election, saying "there's nobody more patriotic" than Don Jr.

Some fun facts about Guilfoyle before we move on:

She was a lingerie model.

According to a 2013 profile in the SF Gate, she modeled lingerie for Macy’s as well as a bridal magazine, for which she wore Victoria's Secret intimates. She said firmly, however, that her modeling career was “a means to an end, period" that she used to help pay for her law degree.

She’s the ex-wife of former San Francisco mayor and current Lt. Gov. of California, Gavin Newsom.
Which is interesting, considering Guilfoyle’s conservative politics. (Newsom is a Democrat and Guilfoyle has been a supporter of the Trump administration.) The couple was married from 2001-2006.

She gained notoriety in the legal world for prosecuting a dog mauling case in 2001.
Acting as the assistant district attorney, Guilfoyle was responsible for convicting two defendants whose dogs mauled a woman to death in San Francisco.

She once had a smoothie at Juice It! in San Francisco named in her honor.
It was called the Krazy Kimba.

Back to the love triangles.

This is just the latest bit of drama out of the White House. Prior to her departure, Hicks found herself at the center of a romantic web when it was revealed she was dating Rob Porter, the former top Trump administration aide who resigned after two of his ex-wives came forward with accusations of abuse. Michael Wolff’s tell-all book, Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House, also revealed that Hicks was involved in an on-and-off again relationship with Trump’s former campaign manager Corey Lewandowski.

Phew! All caught up.
