A new version of "The Boy Is Mine" with Ariana Grande, Brandy and Monica is on its way.

After drawing inspiration from Brandy and Monica's Grammy-winning 1998 hit of the same name for the latest single from her Eternal Sunshine album, Grande, 30, announced a remix of "The Boy Is Mine" featuring both R&B icons on June 17.

"i ……… cannot believe this is real (i don’t know if i will even long after it’s out)," wrote Grande on Instagram about the remix, which drops June 21.

"my deepest and sincerest thank you to Brandy and Monica, not only for joining me for this moment, but for your generosity, your kindness, and for the countless ways in which you have inspired me," she continued. "it is near impossible to say how much this means to me."

"this is in celebration of you both and the impact that you have had on every vocalist, vocal producer, musician, artist that is creating today," added Grande. "i loooooove you both so so much. thank you !!!!!!!"

The remix announcement comes shortly after both Brandy, 45, and Monica, 43, appeared in Grande's "The Boy Is Mine" music video as news broadcasters introducing a speech from fictional Mayor Max Starling, played by Penn Badgley, who oversees a city similar to New York — as it deals with a rat problem.

Grande revealed she "always" had an interest in reimagining Brandy and Monica's "The Boy Is Mine" as she teased her version in a March interview with Apple Music 1’s Zane Lowe.

"In a way, I was kind of like, ‘This is a very bad idea.’ But there is a large group of my fans that really do love a bad girl anthem, and this is an elevated version of that," said Grande, who was inspired by her leaked "Fantasize" demo while making "The Boy Is Mine."

The single was released alongside the Eternal Sunshine album in March. At the time, Grande thanked her fans for their constant support in a heartfelt Instagram post.
