Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo Have a Cute — and Stylish! — “Wicked” Reunion on 2024 Met Gala Red Carpet

Ariana Grande and Cynthia Erivo are trading in the yellow brick road for the 2024 Met Gala red carpet.

Grande, 30, and Erivo, 37, hit the Met steps together on Monday, May 6. In between taking solo snaps, the two Wicked costars posed for photos together — and they even held hands for a couple of pics.

The "Supernatural" singer wore an ethereal, custom Loewe look designed by Jonathan Anderson. As for the Bad Times at the El Royale actress, she wore a black, tuxedo-style look created by Thom Browne.

Joining Vogue red carpet co-host La La Anthony for a quick chat, Grande raved about Erivo, saying, "Getting to know her has changed my life."

The two costars then quickly shared kisses as Erivo stepped up for her own solo interview with Anthony. During their brief chat, Erivo noted how "spectacular" Grande is.

The 2024 Met Gala theme of “Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion” ties into the upcoming Costume Institute exhibit that will feature approximately 250 items — including 15 significant pieces such as an 1877 Charles Frederick Worth silk satin ball gown — that span more than 400 years of history.

Grande has only attended the Met Gala once before in 2018. At the “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and the Catholic Imagination"-themed event, she walked the carpet with Vera Wang, the designer behind her sky-blue gown featuring a seraphic motif.

The singer paid homage to her signature look by adding a massive bow ribbon atop her bun.

This year's affair marks Erivo's sixth time in attendance. When asked to describe her look for the 2024 celebration, she told Variety ahead of the event: "It's almost like I have run through a garden and things have fallen on me."

"There’s always going to be an aspect of Wicked in everything I do," she added. "But sometimes you may have to search for it."
