There's no denying that the topic of cosmetic injectables is being discussed left, right and centre as of late. Whether it be the news headlines about new government regulations trying to limit botched procedures or the likes of celebs like Courtney Cox openly discussing her relationship with them, it seems everything from filler to anti-wrinkle injections is a hot topic. The latest star to discuss their injectables journey? Ariana Grande.

The r.e.m Beauty founder got emotional as she revealed why she stopped getting filler and anti-wrinkle injections, such as Botox, back in 2018. In a video for Vogue, the singer opened up about how it's shaped her relationship with beauty:

"Full transparency, as a beauty person, as I do my lips, I've had a ton of lip filler over the years, and Botox. I stopped in 2018 cause I just felt so...too much. I just felt like hiding, you know?"

The 30-year-old appeared to tear up and need to take a breather before continuing: "Didn't expect to get emotional. For a long time, beauty was about hiding for me. And now I feel like maybe it's not."

She went on to discuss her relationship with ageing, too:

"Whatever makes you feel beautiful, I do support. But I know for me, I was like, 'Oh, I wanna see my well-earned cry lines and smile lines.' I hope my smile lines get deeper and deeper and I laugh more and more. And I think ageing is such...it can be a beautiful thing."

While she may have hit pause on the injectables for now, she hasn't completely shut the door and added: "Now, might I get a facelift in ten years? Might, yeah."

It's refreshing to see an all-around mega star like Ariana Grande discuss such a topic so openly. We appreciate you, Ari.
