Ariana Madix Channels Barbie in First Promo for “Love Island USA”: 'Who's Ready to Couple Up?'

Ariana Madix bringing some Barbie energy to the villa!

In a new promo for the upcoming season of Love Island USA, the Vanderpump Rules star — who is taking over hosting duties following Sarah Hyland's departure — channels Barbie as she makes her way to Love Island.

“I got a text,” she exclaims before reading the message aloud. "Ariana Madix, will you host Peacock’s Love Island USA?”

She emphatically agrees, saying, “Yes!”

Madix, 38, then brings out her inner Barbie as she packs up her suitcase to head off to the villa. Dressed in a hot pink top and capris, the reality star completes her look with Barbie’s signature shades and high heels.

She hops a moped — as Margot Robbie does in the 2023 film Barbie — to leave Hollywood a.k.a. La La Land. Her adventure is far from over as she is seen holding a cocktail on top of a plane.

“Look out world! A hot, new bombshell is headed to the villa where new adventures are going to take flight! Enjoy the ride while you can ‘cause once the islanders arrive, they’re sure to make waves,” narrator Iain Stirling shares as Madix is seen enjoying the sunshine, parachuting and surfing.

Madix doesn’t waste any time getting to business, asking, “Who’s ready to couple up?”

The upcoming season will be set in Fiji, where Islanders will “face more drama than ever before with jaw-dropping revelations, brand new couples challenges and even a few surprise guests,” according to an official synopsis. Of course, viewers will be able to keep their favorite couples from going home “heartbroken and empty-handed” by voting via the Love Island USA app.

Madix shared her excitement for her new gig on a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, saying, “I’m now the host of my favorite show. I will watch 50 GD [God damn] episodes of Love Island with anyone any day.”

In March, Peacock announced Madix was taking over as host of Love Island USA season 6 following Hyland's exit. The Vanderpump Rules star also confirmed the news in a video on her Instagram, captioning the clip: "see you in the villa for an all new season of @loveislandusa hosted by me! 😱🌴🥹💖👙"

"Talk about a bombshell! This summer, I'm trading rhinestone buckles for bikinis," she said in the video at the time. "I can't wait to stir up some trouble in paradise!"

Love Island USA premieres Tuesday, June 11 at 9 p.m. ET on Peacock with new episodes six days a week.
