Bachelor winner Holly Kingston responds to breakup rumours: ‘Quite difficult’
Bachelor winner Holly Kingston has taken to social media to respond to a number of fans who were concerned that she and Jimmy Nicholson had called it quits.
The 27-year-old cleared up the rumours after she accidentally confused her followers with an earlier Instagram story referencing a breakup.
In the video, Holly sat next to Jimmy’s dog Billy who tore through a large stuffed koala toy.
“I gave this to my bestie Francesca as a bit of comfort post-breakup many years ago,” she captioned the post.
“She then regifted it to me post-breakup. End of an era. RIP Kevin the koala.”

It didn’t take long for her followers to reach out and check up on her as they assumed she was referencing a split from Jimmy.
“I’m getting quite a few messages with condolences,” she said in a second video posted shortly after.
“I appreciate it, but it was a past tense breakup koala. Jimmy and I are still going strong. There’s nothing to worry about there. But thank you regardless for your messages.”
Holly, who recently moved in with Jimmy after winning his heart on The Bachelor, went on to post a follow-up video joking about their relationship.
“Today has been quite difficult because I did just catch Jimmy in bed with another girl,” she revealed, before panning to show the 30-year-old pilot cuddling his dog in bed.
“You never talk back to me, do you Billy?” he quipped, which left Holly speechless.
The saga comes shortly after the Bachie couple did a tell-all Q&A about their time on the reality show and revealed some cheeky X-rated confessions.
One question asked by a fan was “how’s the sex life”, which was thrown to Jimmy to answer.
“I'll take this one. Very good question, because actually, you don't know what that's going to be like until you finish filming.
“So, very happy to confirm…” he began saying as Holly quickly shut him down from talking any further.
The couple also answered a question sent from fellow Bachelor contestant Tahnee Leeson, who joked, “OMG is this where I ask YOU who your first pick for a threesome would be?!”
“I love who this question has come from. Tahnee, number one! Would do you reckon?” Holly asked Jimmy, who replied with a wink, “Oh yeah, Tahns, as soon as the borders are open.”
