“Bachelorette” Alum Emily Maynard Posts Then and Now Photos of Daughter Ricki to Celebrate Her 19th Birthday

Emily Maynard and daughter RickiEmily Maynard Johnson is looking back in time to celebrate her daughter Ricki’s birthday!
The Bachelorette alum, 38, shared a pair of photos on Instagram that display just how far her mother-daughter bond has come with her eldest child, who turned 19 on Saturday, June 29.
Maynard Johnson opened her Instagram post with a snapshot of herself and Ricki — whom she shares with late fiancé Ricky Hendrick — walking into a venue together. The mom of six could be seen with an arm around her daughter’s shoulder while her daughter wrapped an arm around her mom’s waist. The photo appeared to have been taken some time around her high school graduation, as Ricki is holding a graduation cap in her hand.
The second photo is a throwback of when Ricki was a preteen. In the snap, the mother-daughter duo could once again be seen walking together, as Maynard Johnson rested an arm around her Ricki’s shoulder.
The pair of pictures highlighted Ricki’s growth over the years, as in the second photo, she appeared to be much smaller, while in the more recent photo, she shared the same height as her mom.
“My beautiful girl. I’ll always and forever have your back,” Maynard Johnson captioned the birthday tribute post. “I love you and am so proud of the person you are. Happy 19th Birthday @rickihendrickk You’re a gift to the world!”

Emily Maynard and her daughter RickiShe also shared a photo first posted by her husband, Tyler Johnson, featuring herself and Ricki set to Bad Bunny’s “Party” on her Instagram Stories.

The pair could be seen posing in front of blue balloons as Emily rested her head on her daughter’s shoulder. The former reality star held up a Florida license plate while her daughter held up a photo of a sailfish — the mascot for Palm Beach Atlantic University, which she will be attending in the fall, per Us Weekly.
The words, “Happy Birthday my baby!!!” were written over the photo.
In addition to Ricki, Emily shares Jennings, 8½, Gibson, 6, Gatlin, 7, Nola Belle, 3 and Jones, 22 months, with her husband.
Last year, Emily revealed that her eldest daughter got a tattoo to celebrate her milestone 18th birthday. At the time, she shared a photo of Ricki lying on a table in a tattoo and piercing studio, and wrote, "Doing grown-up stuff."
She also shared some photos of Ricki’s 18th birthday celebration, which included a number of life-size photos of her throughout the years as decorations.
