Bella Hadid Keeps Sending Not-So-Subtle Messages With Her T-Shirts
Bella Hadid is always one to speak her mind. Just yesterday, the outspoken supermodel didn't just have a PSA, she also wore it on her shirt and then shared it with her 6.6 million Instagram followers. Her #ootd at a local NYC restaurant wasn't just about her outfit but raising voter awareness with a Michael Kors T-Shirt that read "your voice matters." Today, Hadid has a different message, and this one goes out not just to America but to COVID.
Unlike Jennifer Aniston's middle-finger throwback where she asked COVID to "kindly f@!k off," Bella Hadid's plea to COVID featured no @, ! or fingers at all. Instead she once again let her shirt do the talking with a plain black long sleeve that reads "ok, hand over the cure and stop playing" in bold white text. If only it was that easy. That would be nice, huh?
The shirt appears to be a play on an image André 3000 shared on himself in another one of his viral black jumpsuits with the same message. It's unclear where exactly Bella found the shirt, although her desire is loud and clear. We get it, we want the pandemic to be over too. 2020's biggest trend is probably the least tangible trend ever, manifesting an end to the seemingly endless pandemic. And while that trend can't be bought, we could keep trying to wish its eventual end into existence with a loud T-shirt, a pair of denim shorts and 2020's biggest shoe trend: black loafers and white socks.
