“Below Deck” Drama Brews as Fraser Accuses Ben of Attention-Seeking 'Meddling' (Exclusive)
In PEOPLE's exclusive sneak peek at Monday episode of Bravo's drama on the high seas, the deckhand appears to be inserting himself in drama within the interior department
The new season of Below Deck on course for drama.
In PEOPLE's exclusive sneak peek at Monday's episode of the hit Bravo reality series set aboard the superyacht the St. David, lead deckhand Ben Willoughby interferes on rifts that may be percolating within the interior department.
Ben approaches one of this season’s new stewardess Barbara "Barbie" Pascual to tell her that he heard fellow stew Cat Baugh talking about her.
Interrupting Barbie as she’s focused on setting a table, he bluntly says, “I heard something today from Cat,” instantly piquing her interest and inciting a bit of tension by saying that all he knew was that her colleague “wasn’t happy” with her.

The two then take their conversation outside to debrief. “Today she came up to me and said, ‘What are you doing?’ I’m like, ‘I don’t know. I’m working,’” Barbie says, reflecting on her interaction with Cat. “Because I was, like ... schmoozing with Captain [Kerry Titheradge] today because yesterday I was working like a lunatic. She’s like, ‘We’re supposed to be working.’ Inside I was like, ‘Girl….'"

Soon enough, Ben's intervention makes its way back to chief steward Fraser Olender, whom Barbie turns to as the gossip swirl.
“What? Why is he meddling?” asked Fraser, annoyed
Fraser continues of Ben: “I know him. I’m going to spend the whole day watching him. F---ing hell.”
According to Fraser — who appears to confront Ben at the end of the clip — it all comes down to attention-seeking.
“I don’t know what Ben’s game plan is here, but he’s stirring the pot with my girls because I guess he gets attention from it,” he says. “It gives him a chance for a girl to be like, ‘Oh, no. What do you mean?’ That’s attention that he so desires.”

Season 11 marks Fraser’s second year working with Ben. Although the two didn’t have any major friction previously, Fraser will do whatever it takes to avoid history repeating itself after last season’s drama between his stews. (As fans may recall, much of season 10 featured an explosive personality clash between Camille Lamb and Alissa Humber, both of whom were ultimately fired.)
Below Deck returned for its highly anticipated season 11 on Feb. 5, with Captain Kerry helming the St. David after a 10-season run by OG cast member Captain Lee Rosbach.
