Ben Affleck Jokes He Doesn’t Have a ‘Voice of Reason’ in New Dunkin’ Ad with Jack Harlow
Affleck recently starred in another Dunkin commercial that aired during the 2024 Grammys
Ben Affleck’s acting chops? Stellar. His judgment skills? Not so much.
In a new Dunkin’ ad, the Air star questions his reasoning skills with Jack Harlow as his common sense guide.
“Here’s why I know it’s right, it’s because there’s a voice. ‘Don’t do this. Terrible mistake,’” he tells the “First Class” rapper.
Harlow responds: “That might be what you need to hear.” Affleck vehemently disagrees. “No, that’s the wrong voice.”
The Grammy-nominated artist isn’t so ready to concede to Affleck. “What if it’s a voice of reason?” he asks, to which Affleck hilariously responds, “Nah, I don’t have that voice. Believe me.”

The ad closes with a “to be continued” message. While it’s unclear what they're debating, the pair could be working on Affleck’s journey to become a “popstar,” which was satirically portrayed in a Dunkin’ commercial that aired during the 2024 Grammys.
The commercial chronicled Affleck’s efforts to get his “beats” on the map and heard by music experts.
It also poked fun at the actor's appearance at last year's Grammys. At the award show in 2023 with wife Jennifer Lopez, Affleck's unamused facial expressions sparked a parade of "Sad Affleck" memes across social media. (Lopez has since laughed off the comments saying, "He is happy!")
At the start of the ad, a news clip of Affleck and Lopez is on a television screen. The headline read “Boredest Man in the World."

“Keep laughing,” he said in the clip while sipping on an iced Dunkin’ coffee. “He’s bored. No. Steady. Always watching. I can do that. How hard can it be?”
In the next scene, he answered a call, presumably from Lopez. “What’s going on baby? I had this crazy dream, you’re going to laugh,” he said. “I had come up with like some beats. And then you were like, ‘Maybe you should put that on the record.’ I even had a persona like JLo or like BLo. That’s the bad version obviously.”
When he asked if she had any time to help today, he clearly got rejected. “I understand,” he said, clutching a Dunkin’ donut box. So instead he enlisted Charli D’Amelio, who has over 151 million followers on TikTok.
“Maybe you can show me how it looks like,” he said to her. She then did a nimble leg lift and dance. “Yeah I can do that,” Affleck hilariously quipped. D’Amelio, who is also a Dunkin' superfan, then gave him a concerned look, following his last question to her: "Who is TikTok?”

The commercial also ended on a cliff-hanger — “To Be Continued” it read, leaving fans wondering what Dunkin’ and Affleck have in store next.
The spot was developed by Artists Equity, the production company Affleck created alongside friend Matt Damon. Affleck and Artists Equity also created Dunkin’s Super Bowl ad in 2023.
In that he played a Dunkin' employee serving unsuspecting attendees their beverages and treats in a hidden camera-like spot. At one point, while he was working the drive-thru, Lopez appeared and teased her husband. "What are you doing?" she asked, "Is that what you do when you say you're going to work all day?"
