Bill Gates' daughter, Jennifer Gates, marries in lavish wedding

Bill and Melinda Gates’ daughter, Jennifer has married Egyptian equestrian Nayel Nassar in a lavish New York wedding.

The pair said their ‘I dos’ at her Westchester, New York home on Saturday, surrounded by friends and family.

Jennifer looked breathtaking in a custom Vera Wang haute couture A-line gown on the day.

The ivory, long-sleeved dress was adorned with hand appliqué French macrame lace on the bodice, sleeves and Italian tulle skirt.

She accessorised with a chapel length tulle veil which flowed perfectly in the wind.

Nine bridesmaids were spotted at the venue dressed in flowy long green halter neck gowns.

Later in the evening, at what the Daily Mail are reporting was a $2 million reception, Jennifer changed into a lace trumpet gown lined with nude tulle.

Jennifer was reportedly walked down the aisle by both her dad, Bill Gates and her mum, Melinda Gates.

Microsoft founder Bill took to Instagram to pay tribute to his daughter: “Jenn and Nayel, it’s impossible to put into words how happy it makes me to see you filled with joy on your wedding day. I’m so proud of you both for everything you’ve accomplished in your lives so far and everything you will do with your future together.”

Melinda Gates also took to her account to write: "What a joy to celebrate the light and love of @jenniferkgates and @nayelnassar this past weekend. So grateful we were able to find a way to safely gather for this special day."

Meanwhile, Jennifer uploaded a stunning picture of her and Nayel walking down a flower-adorned aisle alongside the caption: “My universe”.
