Bob Odenkirk's wife, Naomi Odenkirk, has been a huge part of his journey in Hollywood.

The producer, who married Bob in 1997, has been a partner of the actor both in his career and personal life. A year after they wed, the couple welcomed their first child, Nate. Their daughter, Erin, joined the family in 2000.

Beyond being a producer and mom, Naomi is also a talent manager with the company she co-founded, Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment. Along with Rachel Sennott and Ayo Edebiri, Bob is one of Naomi's clients, which hasn't always been easy for the pair.

"In the case of Naomi, a really smart, informed person with a point of view ... you want your wife or your partner to care about how it’s making you feel and not the thing itself," Bob told The Wall Street Journal in 2020. "If I said to Naomi, ‘oh I wrote this pilot. I turned it in [and] the network said they didn’t like it,’ I don’t want her to say, ‘well, they’re right.' "

Naomi shared that she and Bob eventually figured out how to work together and protect each other's feelings.

So, who is Bob Odenkirk’s wife? Here’s everything to know about Naomi Odenkirk and her relationship with the actor.

In the March 2014 issue of Playboy, Naomi admitted that she had developed a massive crush on Bob and knew he was “the one” before they met.

“People would offer to introduce me to him, but I didn’t want to force it. I would say, ‘No, no, no,' " she told the publication. "A week later I was driving around doing errands, and I thought, that’s the man I’m going to marry. It popped into my head just like that.”

The pair finally connected outside a comedy club in California and started dating. In 1997, Naomi's premonition came true when the couple got married.

She wrote a book about Bob's series Mr. Show

Bob rose to fame in the '80s and '90s as a sketch comedian. From 1995 to 1998, he and his friend David Cross produced, wrote and starred in their sketch show called Mr. Show with Bob and David.

In 2002, four years after the series ended, Naomi wrote Mr. Show: What Happened. The book is an insider’s guide to the show, telling the story of how Bob and Cross met and how they created and filmed the show. Naomi also included episode and character guides, behind-the-scenes stories and excerpts from unused scripts.

Bob and Naomi have two kids: Nate, who is a comedic writer often featured in The New Yorker, and Erin, an artist who helped illustrate her dad’s 2023 children’s book, Zilot & Other Important Rhymes.

The actor shared the inspiration behind the project with PEOPLE, revealing it was a nod to his children's bedtime routine. According to the actor, he wrote poems with his son and daughter instead of reading them books. During the COVID-19 pandemic, the family resumed the tradition and it was a richer experience the second time around.

"His faith in me was really important to the project," Erin told PEOPLE before the book's release. "And also letting me kind of take the reins for a bit, or me seceding to him because he's had so much experience, and he has the voice for this book ... I really feel like we're a good team for that."

Naomi is a producer and co-owner of the production company Odenkirk Provissiero, which has helped create the hit Hulu show PEN15 and the movie No Hard Feelings starring Jennifer Lawrence.

As a producer and Bob's manager, Naomi often gets to work with her husband. She produced his Netflix comedy show W/ Bob and David in 2015 and most recently, the AMC dramedy Lucky Hank in 2023.

No Hard Feelings centers around a family who places a Craigslist ad hoping to find a woman to help their shy son break out of his shell. Bob and Naomi told Entertainment Tonight in 2023 that the inspiration for the film came from a real ad that she found.

“It's Naomi's big night because she found the Craigslist ad that became this movie," he said of his wife, who co-produced the film.

“I found this fossilized Craigslist ad from, like, a decade ago, from middle America in the 'Casual Encounters' section of Craigslist that they don’t even have anymore," Naomi explained.

From there, the idea for the film was born. “I just printed it up and brought it in, and we immediately started talking about what story would come of this," she added.

Bob and Naomi grew closer after his heart attack

Bob had a heart attack while filming his series Better Call Saul in 2021. After his recovery, the actor realized he needed to make a few changes to his life, including living more in the moment.

I'm trying to be more present and to make some space in my life,” the actor told PEOPLE in 2023. “Because when you race from one thing to the next you deprive yourself of the fun of the experience.”

Bob also learned he needed to dedicate more time to Naomi and their two children. During a 2022 appearance on the Today show, he said, “The epiphany was simply that my life is pretty damn great, and I should appreciate it and the people around me."

He continued, "I think people do have epiphanies when they have a near-death experience, and oftentimes, it's 'I have to change something.' And I think my epiphany is I have to appreciate what I have, because it's really great and I have really great people around me."

Bob and Naomi have collaborated on shows and movies throughout their marriage.

In September 2022, Deadline announced that the couple would work together again on the film The Making of Jesus Diabetes. The comedy focuses on two brothers who plan to make a movie about diabetes during the time of Jesus. Naomi signed on as producer, and Bob is co-writing and costarring in the film.
