Body found in search for missing Crianlarich hiker Ivan Meyer
A body has been found in the search for a missing hiker who disappeared during an outing in Crianlarich.
Ivan Meyer, 45, failed to return home to Edinburgh after travelling by train to the Stirling village on Monday.
Police Scotland launched a search and issued an appeal, saying Mr Meyer had intended to climb mountains An Caisteal and Beinn a' Chroin.
In an update on Wednesday, Police Scotland said the body of a man had been found near Beinn a' Chroin at around 11.30am.

Formal identification is yet to take place, but the force said Mr Meyer's family had been made aware.
A Police Scotland spokesperson added: "The death is not being treated as suspicious and a report will be sent to the Procurator Fiscal."
